"A force" (pianist Paul Bley) with "spiraling notoriety within global jazz circles" (AllAboutJazz.com), PETE ROBBINS is a Brooklyn-based alto saxophonist and composer who tours worldwide and has four albums released under his leadership.Robbins has been the recipient of multiple jazz composition grants from Chamber Music America and his recordings have earned "Best Of The Year" status from numerous media outlets. He has been featured in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, Village Voice, Downbeat, Jazztimes, National Public Radio, Politikken, and many other media outlets.

Unnamed Quartet recording
Sometime in early 2011, a live recording of my Unnamed Quartet (myself, Nate Wooley, Daniel Levin, and Jeff Davis) will be released on Not Two Records out of Poland. The music is completely improvised and the band sounds terrific, so I'm really excited!
